I think you nailed it when you said you were speaking on topics that you hadn't earned the right to speak on.

There's no better feeling than speaking to a crowd on a topic that you truly KNOW and LOVE. I had the same anxiety as you did when I started speaking, obviously because I wasn't prepared.
